Contact

Human babies do better when offered plenty of skin to skin contact. Adults crave human contact. Hugs and cuddles with people we love make us feel good. Willingness to touch or be touched by another human signifies trust and engagement. In a time of pandemic we are discouraged from touching others and even the surfaces that others might have touched before us. An unseen virus preys on one of our greatest needs to ensure its own survival while threatening ours.
